When the trail calls, answer it with a machine that delivers on every level. The 550 S LTD provides the power of a 4-stroke, liquid-cooled H1 EFI 545cc engine in concert with a Duramatic® automatic transmission, offering maximum horsepower when you need it most. Its new electronic power steering system is skilled at helping you maneuver through even the hairiest of trails. And the sporty body styling of this ATV sets you apart from other riders out there. This limited model also includes 12" aluminum rims, front and rear brushguard bumpers, a heavy-duty winch and a sleek, Tungsten Metallic paint job that truly stands out in the great outdoors.

  • Power Steering - This technology means business, even at idle. An electronic power steering (EPS) system designed specifically for Arctic Cat, it reduces torque necessary to steer your ATV while changing directions or navigating rough terrain. Its electronic unit provides assistance to the steering column trough a sealed, brushless electric motor, which measures steering input force verses tire resistance and vehicle speed. Four different inputs (MPH, RPH, handlebars and wheels) and 36 foot-pounds of torque - 3x the competition.
  • Ride-In Suspension - Fully independent, race-inspired suspension features a lower suspension profile and a lower seat design, resulting in a lower center of gravity yet maintaining 11" of ground clearance. That means more confidence hammering through tight corners on the trail, as well as clearing big, nasty obstacles off the trail.
  • 550 H1 EFI Engine - This 545cc, liquid-cooled EFI features a single overhead cam and a single cylinder. The "H" stands for its hemispherical-shaped heads, delivering more efficient combustion resulting in better performance. Electronic fuel injection ensures easy starts and consistent performance in various climates or altitudes. This 4-stroke is efficient, powerful and ready to go.
  • Deluxe Digital/Analog Gauge - Within a glance, you'll be able to catch a glimpse of up to 14 critical information indicators. Keep a close check on such indicators as your speedometer, clock/hour meter, fuel level, mode button, odometer/tripmeter, gear position, differential lock, high beam, battery condition, temperature and oil pressure.
  • Electric 2WD/4WD and Front Differential Lock - When the going g ets tough, shift from 2-wheel drive to 4-wheel drive on the fly with just a push of a button. For even more traction, activate the front differential lock by moving the switch to the left.
  • 12" Machined Aluminum Rims - Our heavy-duty polished aluminum rims with painted black inlays feature an optimized scrub radius minimizing riding steering effort.
  • Tungsten Metallic Paint - No-nonsense. It defines your riding style and lets other riders know it from the get-go. Now it's more visible than ever with a Tungsten Metallic paint job. Light, gunmetal gray to show the world you mean business on any trail.
